The DVB-H iSplicer is a key component of high revenue generating and cost-optimised Mobile TV networks. It enables the primary distribution of Mobile TV content directly to the DVB-H broadcast towers. The distribution can be done via standard satellite links or IP multicast networks..

DVB-H iSplicer is compliant with DVB-H standards, and fully interoperable with all DVB-H standard equipment (terminals, encoders, modulators, encapsulators, network adapters, ESG and CA/DRM systems).
A number of new exciting features including statistical multiplexing and visual monitoring are announced for the upcoming release of the world's most popular DVB-H IP Encapsulator and IPE-Manager.
The Statistical Multiplexing enables improvement of the image quality and increase of the number of TV channels that can be broadcasted. The IP Encapsulator interacts with MPEG4 encoders in order to optimize the usage of available bandwidth.
The configuration and management of DVB-H networks is largely simplified with the Visual IPE Monitoring feature. The operator can access cartographical representation of the entire DVB-H network, burst visualization, channels allocation, session scheduling and other essential information with view of the entire system, as well as each individual IP Encapsulator.
UDgateway 3.0 is the first satellite appliance on the market to address a major issue of enterprises - acceleration of Microsoft® Windows® file sharing (CIFS). The UDgateway 3.0 features a new acceleration mechanism dedicated to improving performance for all satellite users who remotely access their corporate file systems.
The CIFS acceleration allows reducing the time of access and reading of remote files between two and five times or more depending on the size of the file

Algérie Télécom Satellite (a subsidiary of Algérie Télécom) has ordered 1500 UDcast UDgateway® appliances to install and tenfold the performance of 1500 satellite sites that will be gradually installed over the Algerian territory. The installed broadband will be available to the branches of the six state banks, including La Banque Centrale d'Algérie and The Algerian Post, and will assure the reliability and the complete security of inter bank clearing operations.

Working with JSAT, the UDcast UDgateway® all-in-one appliance for broadband satellite Internet access is the first to provide data access as well as critical emergency and medical services to residents in Japan's sparsely populated rural areas on the strength of a satellite. Supported by the Japanese government, the satellite-based medical service enabled by this project is significant, as it has been difficult and costly to build up diagnostic systems using optical fiber or ADSL networks in these rural islands and mountainous regions. The UDgateway allows medical facilities in these areas to benefit from satellite with the same performances and functionality as sites with terrestrial broadband.
