Pre-Sales and Training Systems Engineer - UDcast France
Position Summary
The qualified candidate will provide pre-sales and training services to UDcast sales agents, distributors, partners and customers to enable them to sell, deploy and support UDcast DVB-H and IP over Satellite solutions. Services can include system engineering tasks, technical product expert presentations, technical training, troubleshooting and technical account management. The candidate will be based in Sophia-Antipolis, France. Frequent travel on a worldwide basis is to be expected.

Main Responsabilities include
- Interface with various customers and partners at the technical level and propose viable solutions in real time during customer meetings
- Performance of systems engineering activities in pre-sales phases
- Support partners on a technical level
- Communicate and present our technology towards partners and customers
- Building technical credibility in customer interactions and drive the technical side of the sales process
- Drive knowledge transfer with distributors and partners
- Plan and participate in customer calls and events as necessary to promote sales and technical deployments
- Participate in the definition, set-up, staffing and tear-down at International Exhibitions
- Development of sales tools, powerpoint presentations, demonstration setups, etc.
- Functionality tests and performance validation of UDcast products
- Collecting customer product requests and market feedback in order to consolidate them for driving product development
- Monitor the competitive landscape around UDcast products
- Work together with the appropriate UDcast Account Manager
Required Skills
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in a professional, preferably international IT environment
- Minimum 3 years experience in systems engineering and/or pre-sales consultancy
- Professional presentation skills
- Hands-on experience with Windows and UNIX
- Excellent organizational, customer service and communication (written and oral) skills
- Solid knowledge of Internet Protocol
- Fluent spoken and written English language is mandatory
Desired Skills
- Ability to understand customer requirements and to effectively communicate those issues internally to provide effective options to the customer
- Experience with Digital Broadcast technologies is considered a plus
- Any major European languages are considered a plus, international candidates encouraged

- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and able to communicate professionally with customers
- Ability to work in a small team
- Ability to travel worldwide up to 2 weeks in a row
